Schunk Parallel Grippers - LGP, LGZ, LGW, LGR series

LGP series

Universal 2 finger parallel gripper with T-slot guidance and excellent cost/performance ratio for universal application in clean surroundings, such as assembly areas.
The round piston is moved up or down by means of compressed air. Through its angular active surfaces, the wedge hook transforms this motion into the lateral, synchronous gripping movement of both base jaws.
Monitoring with a SCHUNK MMS 22 or RMS 22 sensor is not possible. The use of the recommended sensors MZN and RZN is not compulsory.

Advantages and benefits

  • Function optimized gripper type for maximum cost effectiveness
  • Stable, ground T-groove guiding for highest precision in handling
  • Matching SCHUNK C-slot switch for a process reliable position interrogation
  • Hard-anodized or hardened functional components for long lifetime
  • Centring sleeves for an repeat accurate exchange of grippers and fingers
  • Compact dimensions for minimized disturbing contours

LGR series

Universal 180° angle gripper with excellent cost/performance ratio for application in clean and slightly dirty environments.
180° angular grippers (radial grippers) are advantageous in that they save an additional stroke movement. Since each jaw rotates away by 90°, they are mostly removed from the work area; a stroke movement to retract the entire gripper can be omitted.
Monitoring with a SCHUNK MMS 22 or RMS 22 sensor is not possible. The use of the recommended sensors MZN and RZN is not compulsory.

Advantages and benefits

  • Function optimized gripper type for maximum cost effectiveness
  • Matching SCHUNK C-slot switch for a process reliable position interrogation
  • Hard-anodized or hardened functional components for long lifetime
  • Centring sleeves for an repeat accurate exchange of grippers and fingers
  • Compact dimensions for minimized disturbing contours

LGW series

Universal Angular Gripper for small to medium-sized work-pieces with excellent cost/performance ratio for clean surrounding for example an assembly area.

Advantages and benefits

  • Function optimized gripper type for maximum cost effectiveness
  • Stable cinematics for high power transmission and synchronized gripping
  • Matching SCHUNK C-slot switch for a process reliable position interrogation
  • Hard-anodized or hardened functional components for long lifetime
  • Centring sleeves for an repeat accurate exchange of grippers and fingers
  • Compact dimensions for minimized disturbing contours

LGZ series

Universal 3 finger centric gripper with T-slot slide-way and excellent cost/performance ratio for application in clean and slightly dirty environments.

Advantages and benefits

  • Function optimized gripper type for maximum cost effectiveness
  • Stable, ground T-groove slide-way for highest precision in handling
  • Matching SCHUNK C-slot switch for a process reliable position interrogation
  • Hard-anodized or hardened functional components for long lifetime
  • Centring sleeves for an repeat accurate exchange of grippers and fingers
  • Compact dimensions for a minimized disturbing contour
