Hydrodynamic clutches are designed as starting clutches for smooth and controlled starting and subsequent torque transmission in all industries.
Suitable overload protection for applications with the required soft start / for applications loaded from the start.
 
Formerly known as Simplatrol, Formsprag, WESTCAR Rotofluid or Mesur-Fil, hydro-dynamic couplings.
 
They are available for electric motors from ½ HP to 50 HP, which run at speeds from 500 RPM to 3600 RPM.
During start-up, the fluid clutch will reduce the current consumption on your electric motor by 33%.

Hydrodynamic clutches are supplied as standard with:

• Viton high temperature oil seal ™
• Welded construction to eliminate leaks in sizes 7.0, 9.4 and 12.4
