Filter cartridges can be used with optimum economy only if it is fully utilized their capacity to capture impurities. Mechanical and electronic sensors integrated in the filters react to continuous changes in pressure resulting from changes in the level of contamination. These changes are then depending on the version indicated by the gauge, visual or electrical switch. On suction filters vacuum is recorded on pressure filters differential pressure and the rear back-pressure filters. This allows the operator without any risk to optimally determine when the PTO.
